Shelter Works grads celebrate at the KY Manufacturing Career Center

Last Friday, 7 men (pictured above) celebrated their graduation from the new Shelter Works program at the Kentucky Manufacturing Career Center (KMCC). They earned 5 key industry certifications and made exclusive connections to leading manufacturing employers in the region during the M-TEC training course.

Shelter Works, a partnership of KentuckianaWorks, the Louisville Metro Department of Resilience and Community Services, and the St. John Center for Homeless Men, aims to help individuals who are experiencing homelessness secure stable employment and housing.
