WDRB: "KentuckianaWorks manufacturing program celebrates 1,000th job placement in 4 years"

Exceprt from WDRB story: "The Kentucky Manufacturing Career Center, which was created by KentuckianaWorks in 2013, celebrated the milestone Monday in a press conference with Mayor Greg Fischer.

The program offers Louisville-area residents several workforce credentials, including the "certified production technician." People who complete the 2- or 4-week courses often have an advantage over other applicants at participating employers like GE Appliances, Dant Clayton Corp. and Paradise Tomato."
